EXTENDED!
Celebrate our heritage for one more weekend, this Saturday, March 6, from 1-5 pm. Not only are we extending Black History @ Avenida Houston but are also kicking-off Women’s History Month with all women vendors and musicians! It is going to be a beautiful day to shop BLCK Market Houston with over 25 Houston-based, black-owned businesses, sample delicious local fare and enjoy afternoon grooves from Soultre Feat. Kollett, 1:30 -3PM, and Mary Griffin, 3:30-5PM.

Join us on Saturdays in February as we celebrate Black History Month with a free outdoor, socially distanced market featuring a variety of family friendly activities. The BLCK Market @ Avenida expands the popular pop-up to the Avenida de las Americas for a safe and fun way to support local black-owned entrepreneurs, designers, makers and artists. Featuring over 20 vendors on site, market participants represent diverse cultures from across our region. The vision of BLCK Market is to bring value back to the community by way of financial literacy, wellness and creativity.

There will also be live music from local artists and food trucks on site to make a safe and fun afternoon outdoors in downtown Houston. For everyone's health and safety social distancing will be respected, face masks will be required, and temperature checks will be taken at the entrance to the market.
