Dynamo Day At Avenida
Eat & Drink
Some might say that eating and drinking is essential to starting off a good game day, and here on the Avenida, we’d have to agree. Here are some options for pre and post-game fun:
Biggio’s
If you have an Instagram, you’ve probably seen this heavenly sports bar cross your feed at least once or twice. Owned by THE Houston Astros’ very own Craig Biggio, the sports bar and grill offers elevated twists staple sports bar cuisine such as burgers, nachos, wings and chili. Finish it off with one of Biggio’s to die for cocktails, or one of their 20 beers on tap. Not to mention, this is probably one of the comfiest sports bars you’ll find around Downtown. With private viewing rooms, reclining leather chairs, two 30-foot tall screens, it’s hard to go wrong.
Pappasitos
If you’re a Houston native, chances are you’ve heard of the Pappas chains. Our Avenida campus would be incomplete without this little slice of home. From their unbeatable chicken/beef fajita nachos to their queso and guacamole, the Pappasito’s menu is the perfect addition to a Dynamo’s game day. It doesn’t hurt that they have an extensive list of handcrafted margaritas, either.
Kulture
The second child of Breakfast Klub’s very own Marcus Davis, Kulture packs a punch with it’s urban comfort cuisine. With menu items like shrimp and grits, crispy fish and johnny cakes, it’s hard to imagine a bad game day with this as a destination.
Stay
