Another must-see attraction near the City Lights festivities is The ICE, powered by Green Mountain Energy, where you can skate under the bright lights of downtown Houston. This iconic ice skating rink opens with its kickoff party on November 15 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., offering a fun-filled evening of skating, music, and holiday cheer. Throughout the season, The ICE will feature exciting theme nights with live music, creating a lively atmosphere for all ages. Families, friends, and visitors of all ages can also visit Santa Claus at the rink, where kids can share their holiday wishes with the jolly old man himself. Skate rental is included with admission, making it an easy and fun way to enjoy the winter season. Tickets must be purchased online in advance, so be sure to secure your spot!
