This Saturday, May 16, Avenida Plaza will come alive with the sights, sounds, and traditions of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander cultures during AANHPI Amplified, a vibrant evening celebration in the heart of downtown Houston.

Guests can expect an immersive cultural experience featuring traditional and modern performances, stunning visual showcases, and interactive storytelling designed to celebrate the rich diversity and artistry of AANHPI communities.

A Night of Tradition, Energy & Illumination

The evening’s programming will feature an exciting lineup of cultural performances including:

As the experience unfolds, guests will journey through both traditional and contemporary interpretations of cultural performance art. The program will begin with powerful traditional drumming and lion dances before transitioning into visually striking glow-in-the-dark and LED performances later in the night.
