Pianist and composer Melvin Johnson unveils his debut album, “Little Red Wagon,” a heartfelt collection of musical tales inspired by family bonds and life’s wisdom. Amidst the challenges of the COVID lockdown, Johnson discovered a newfound passion for recording and production, expanding his artistry beyond live performances. With a rich background in classical piano fused with exposure to diverse genres, Johnson emerges as a versatile composer and producer. “Little Red Wagon” invites listeners into the journey that shaped Melvin’s identity, weaving intricate narratives through captivating soundscapes.
Opening the stage is JHU, a boundary-pushing multi-genre artist known for seamlessly blending performance techniques and concepts. With an impressive international resume and collaborations with renowned artists, including Erykah Badu and Bruce Hornsby, JHU promises a captivating performance.
