Along with Super Bowl signage, ICE at Discovery Green has been removed as the weather warms up. However, March 3, 2017 will mark the start of The Rink, rolling at Discovery Green from March 3 - March 25, 2017. This is Houston's first outdoor roller rink, and is a great way to enjoy the warm days and cool nights of spring.
The grand opening on Friday, March 3 will include live music from Allen Oldies Band, Light Rock Express and the Xandudes, a Roller Derby Girls skating demo and more.
During its time, the rink will be open:
- Monday - Thursday: 5 - 10 pm
- Friday: 5 - 11 pm
- Saturday and School Holidays*: 11 am - 11 pm
- Sunday: 11 am - 9 pm
* - School holidays are March 13 - 17
Admission price is $12 per person, and $6 on Cheap Skate Nights (Mondays, 3/6 and 3/20)
